Poco Torcido
Cido has been sold. We do however have several nice foals by him coming in 2006.
We were offered the opportunity to purchase Cido in September of 2004. We really
were not looking to add a stallion to our roster for 2005 since we already had four
others, but with one look at his pedigree we realized that we could not pass up this
opportunity. This amazing stallion has one of the best set of papers that we have ever
seen. Cido has a wonderful personality, gentle disposition, and passes this on to his
offspring. He was ridden in the past and was a really quick learner. He has huge bones,
good straight legs, and is extremely thick. Right now he weighs about #1,300 lbs. He also
is quick and atheletic and very intelligent. If you are looking to put some thickness on
your baby, this is the cross for you. He has only sired 3 babies before coming here, so
we are going to breed several of our mares to him this time to see what he will produce.
He is a grandson of the great AQHA Champion Poco Bueno and also has Wimpy P-1,
(our main reason for purchasing him),  King P-234, and Doc Bar on his four generation
pedigree. He then has Peppy P-212, Hollywood Gold, and Three Bars on his five
generation pedigree. Leo is on his 6th generation. He has absolutely no holes or
unknowns in his pedigree. His sire is also an AQHA Champion and was one of the last
living sons of Poco Bueno. Come by and check Cido out, You will love him!  Stud Fee
for 2005 is $400.00 with a live foal guarantee.
These pics taken Sept. of 2005. Cido rides like a dream, even after a year of not
riding at all. We put our 5 year old niece on his back and she handled him
fine. What an easy guy to get along with!!!
SOLD! Congratulations to Larry and Gaylene Smith of Alberta CANADA on their purchase of
Cido. We hope that ya'll enjoy him as much as we did. He is an excellent stallion for your
breeding operation.
