Roan Silverado Storm ~ 2011 AQHA Grulla Roan Stallion NFQHA 95%. 15.2 and THICK. Storme has Roan Ambrose & Blue Valentine on his papers, with Poco Bueno, Joe Hancock, Valentine, Mr Joe Glo, Sputnik, and Three Chicks in his pedigree. He is sired by Joe Hancock Traced a son of Roan Ambrose, and a grandson of Blue Valentine(Superior Performance and Rodeo Horse) that is Poco Bueno(AQHA Hall of Fame, AQHA Champion, ROM in Performance) bred on bottom. Joe produces those awesome riding and performance horses that you see on my website. He has several of his offspring that are being competed on in timed rodeo events and also several compete in Cowboy Mounted Shooting. They also make laid back trail mounts and great kid's and beginners horses. Then on bottom he is by Lakotas Misty Glo, a 92% foundation bred Grulla Mare. She is an awesome producer and great mama and has produced many colored riding horses during her broodmare career. Misty is mostly all old-timey foundation breeding with Aledo Blue, Mr Joe Glo, Three Chicks, Croton Oil, and Hancock breeding on top. On bottom she goes back to Silver King, Poco Bueno, Three Bars and Bill Cody. Storme has been shown successfully in Cowboy Mounted Shooting and Team Roping. He exceled in both events and has proven himself to be quiet, level headed and ready to compete however you need him. He's a sweet natured guy and everyone who sees him falls in love. He is gorgeous, thick, good boned and tall but not a giant. Storme was born grulla and then roaned out. So his babies could be dun, grulla, red dun, or black and then have the roan gene also. Jag produces alot of color and well muscled foals that ride and are gentle and quiet on the ground or under saddle. Jag was injured as a weanling and therefore was not shown. However he is broke to ride and is okay for light work under saddle. We were very blessed to add Jag to our program in 2015. He is an excellent outcross for our Hancock lines. He has produced grulla, dun or red dun, and black AQHA foals thus far. Click here to see his pedigree. |
