| At Circle S we also like raising our own broodmares. We have found over the years that genetics play a huge part of disposition, overall conformation, attitude and color. Since we like to raise good, calm natured, quiet minded foals, it all starts by having a mare that is willing and able to pass these traits along. Some of our mares are now the third generation of their family on our farm! We usually keep 1-3 fillies a year to add back into our program for when we retire mares out, or we lose a mare to a accident or old age. Here is the future of our breeding program......... |

2006 Seal Brown filly sired by Black to Basics(who is a NCHA and AQHA money and point earner who has been shown by amateurs and youth and is still being shown at age 14) and Genuine Sal(deceased)our daughter of Genuine Doc. Her dam was 24 years old when she foaled Delight and it was her first filly ever. Very small star and no other white markings. She is a grandaughter of Mr San Peppy(AQHA Hall of Fame and NCHA World Champion, COA, Superior in Performance, 161 AQHA Points and over $107,000 in earnings)on top and a grandaughter of Genuine Doc(Superior in Performance, ROM, 55 AQHA Points, NCHA money earner of $23,922, sire of earners of over $2,100,000 and 9,900 AQHA points) with King P-234(AQHA Hall of Fame) right off of her papers on bottom. Ace was sired by a Money Earning Finished Cutter and Both Grandsires are NCHA Money Earning Finished Cutters. His sire, Black to Basics, is the only black son of Mr San Peppy still living and he has won money and points in NCHA, ACHA, and AQHA. Ace's dam is by Oak San Doc(NCHA money earner of $2,325) who won 15,000 in NCHA who was by Docs Oak(Hall of Fame, ROM, NCHA money earnings of $70,000+, sire of World Champion Offspring, Superior Performers, NRHA and NCHA money earners). 2008 Grulla Filly with a star and no white feet. She is sired by a homozygous black grandson of Sonny Dee Bar that also has Isle Breeze and Boston Mac on his papers. Then on bottom, she is by Lakota's Misty Glo our high percentage foundation bred grulla mare that is the dam of our grulla stallion Lakota's Silver Moon(Koda), and grulla gelding Tough Silverado Ace(Tough). This mare carries the bloodlines of Aledo Blue, Mr Joe Glo, and Hancock. We purchased this filly as a weanling straight off of her mom and really love her color and style. 2009 Red Roan Filly. She is sired by Joe Hancock Traced , a son of Roan Ambrose by Blue Valentine and Poco Bueno on the bottom side. Joe produces those awesome riding and performance horses that you see on my website. He has several of his offspring that are being competed on in timed rodeo events and also several compete in Cowboy Mounted Shooting. They also make laid back trail mounts and great kid's and beginners horses. Then on the bottom side this filly is Dudes Sunnybrook. She is a grandaughter of Blondys Dude on top with Clabber Bars breeding. Dudes Sunnybrook's sire is Dudes Silver Son(AQHA Performance ROM, PHBA halter and performance points totaling over 160+). 2009 Dunalino Filly with a rear stocking and a front sock and a cute little star, strip, and snip. She is sired by Luckys Raindance Kid, who several of our older riding geldings: Ima Peppy Outlaw, Lucky Genuine Cowboy, Lucky Chance Kid, and Lucky Lil Scout are sired by. Lucky produces some of the smartest, kindest babies out there. No buck at all in them and they take to riding like they already knew what you were asking them to do. His bloodlines include Skipper W, Wimpy, and Leo. Then on the bottom side her dam is Little Peppy Cara, one of our BEST producers. She is a daughter of Peppys April Cool (he has money and AQHA points earned in cutting and western pleasure) and is a grandaughter of Wheeling Peppy and great grandaughter of Tanquery Gin and Peppy San Badger on top. On bottom she is a great grandaughter of Barneys Bonanza and Handy Man Jack. She also has Mr San Peppy, Rey Jay, Doc O Lena, Coy's Bonanza, Two Eyed Jack, and Eternal Sun right off of her papers. We have two of her older half and full sisters in our broodmare band and her older full brother as one of our riding geldings. I think she will make a great addition to our program here.
