Future Broodmares
At Circle S we also like raising our own broodmares. We have found over the years that genetics play a huge part of disposition, overall conformation, attitude and color. Since
we like to raise good, calm natured, quiet minded foals, it all starts by having a mare that is willing and able to pass these traits along. Some of our mares are now the third
generation of their family on our farm! We usually keep 1-2 fillies a year to add back into our program for when we retire mares out, or we lose a mare to a accident or old age.
Here is the future of our breeding program.........

Shesa Crystal Dream(Goose) ~ 2014 AQHA/NFQHA 91% Cremello Filly
This filly is sired by Luckys Raindance Kid, who several of our older riding geldings: Ima Peppy Outlaw, Lucky Genuine Cowboy, Lucky
Chance Kid, and Lucky Lil Scout are sired by. Lucky produces some of the smartest, kindest babies out there. No buck at all in them and
they take to riding like they already knew what you were asking them to do. His bloodlines include Skipper W, Wimpy, and Leo.
Then the dam is one of Candi's favorite mares,
King Skips Jellybean who is very very broke to ride and was Candi's trail mount for several
years. She would go anywhere you pointed her and be calm in all situations. She is
Skipper W, Wimpy, Peppy 212, King and Hancock bred
on top. On bottom she is linbred
King and Poco Bueno. Her dam came straight off of the King Ranch in Kingsville, TX.

This one is Candi's keeper for 2014. She's a close copy of her full sister-Shesa Creamy Dream(one of Candi's favorite Circle S Foals of all
time) Hopefully she'll have that same disposition, and size and will only produce palomino or buckskin foals. She's a tank! Thick, thick.
Good bone. We are thrilled with her.

Goose finished up several months of riding in 2016. She'll be bred in 2017.

Joes Obsidian Star(Cinder) ~ 2014 AQHA/NFQHA 92% Black Filly.
She did carry and express dun factor at birth but has shed black.
This filly is sired by Joe Hancock Traced a son of Roan Ambrose, and a grandson of Blue Valentine(Superior Performance and Rodeo Horse) that
is Poco Bueno(AQHA Hall of Fame, AQHA Champion, ROM in Performance) bred on bottom. Joe produces those awesome riding and
performance horses that you see on my website. He has several of his offspring that are being competed on in timed rodeo events and also several
compete in Cowboy Mounted Shooting. They also make laid back trail mounts and great kid's and beginners horses.
Her mom is Sonnys Silver Mist(Rayne). She is sired by a homozygous black grandson of Sonny Dee Bar that also has Isle Breeze and Boston Mac
on his papers. Then on bottom, she is by Lakota's Misty Glo our high percentage foundation bred grulla mare that is the dam of our grulla roan
stallion Roan Silverado Storme, and grulla gelding Tough Silverado Ace(Tough). This mare carries the bloodlines of Aledo Blue, Mr Joe Glo, and
Hancock.

This filly is a blessing. She was one of a set of twins, carried full term by a maiden mare, and is a miracle to be alive. We have decided to keep her.
She's dang cute! And will make a good addition for our future program. She has the quietest, most gentle mind and disposition. Nothing excites
her.

Cinder will be broke to ride in 2017.

maternal line is my favorite here in the ranch.
