Future Broodmares
At Circle S we also like raising our own broodmares. We have found over the years that genetics play a huge part of disposition, overall conformation, attitude and color. Since
we like to raise good, calm natured, quiet minded foals, it all starts by having a mare that is willing and able to pass these traits along. Some of our mares are now the third
generation of their family on our farm! We usually keep 1-3 fillies a year to add back into our program for when we retire mares out, or we lose a mare to a accident or old age.
Here is the future of our breeding program.........
Genuinely Blue(Velvet) ~ 2013 AQHA NFQHA 92% Blue Roan Filly
She is sired by Joe Hancock Traced , a son of Roan Ambrose by Blue Valentine(Superior Performance and Rodeo Horse) who is
a great grandson of Poco Bueno on the bottom side. Joe produces those awesome riding and performance horses that you see on
my website. He has several of his offspring that are being competed on in timed rodeo events and also several compete in
Cowboy Mounted Shooting. They also make laid back trail mounts and great kid's and beginners horses.
Then on the bottom she is by Genuinely Delightful(Delight)- Mare sired by Black to Basics(who is a NCHA and AQHA money
and point earner who has been shown by amateurs and youth and is still being shown at age 14) and Genuine Sal(deceased)our
daughter of Genuine Doc. Her dam was 24 years old when she foaled Delight and it was her first filly ever. Very small star and no
other white markings. Delight is a grandaughter of Mr San Peppy on top and a grandaughter of Genuine Doc with King P-234
right off of her papers on bottom.

Velvet finished several months of riding in 2016. She'll be bred in 2017.

Lakotas Lunar Glo(Luna) ~ 2013 AQHA/NFQHA LIGHT Grulla Filly
Luna is mostly all old-timey foundation breeding with Aledo Blue, Mr Joe Glo, Three Chicks, Croton Oil, and Hancock
breeding on top. On bottom she goes back to Otoe, Wimpy, Poco, Bonanza, Two Eyed Jack, King and Hancock.

Luna is a paternal half sister to one of our best broodmares, Lakotas Misty Glo. Misty is 14 years older than Luna. We love
Misty, love what she produces and keep almost everything off of her ;-) When we were offered the chance to purchase a grulla
filly, that is a half sister to her, we jumped on it. Luna is a nice mare herself. She's quiet, thick boned and stout made. She's got
a good mind and is not aggressive. We can't wait to see what she produces for us down the road.

Luna was ridden in 2016. She will be bred in 2017.

like they already knew what you were asking them to do. His bloodlines include Skipper W, Wimpy, and Leo.
Then her dam is one of Candi's favorite mares,
King Skips Jellybean who is very very broke to ride and was Candi's trail mount for several years.
She would go anywhere you pointed her and be calm in all situations. She is
Skipper W(sire of Superior Halter and Performance Horses, AQHA
Champions, ROM, and NCHA money earners),
Wimpy(AQHA Hall of Fame, sire of Superior Halter and Performance Horses, AQHA
Champions, NCHA money earners),
Peppy 212(sire of ROM earners, Halter Point Earners, and Race money earners), King(AQHA Hall of Fame,

Anyone who has looked at my website or studied our operation here, has realized the importance of this filly's mom to our program. She is our #1
STAR producer. They make excellent riders. They also produce just like themselves and are great additions to anyone looking to better their herd.
We have kept the majority of the siblings to this filly, have only sold one other filly, off this mare.

This one is Candi's keeper for 2014. She's a close copy of her full sister-Shesa Creamy Dream(one of Candi's favorite Circle S Foals of all
time) Hopefully she'll have that same disposition, and size and will only produce palomino or buckskin foals. She's a tank! Thick, thick.

This filly is a blessing. She was one of a set of twins, carried full term by a maiden mare, and is a miracle to be alive. We have decided to keep her.
She's dang cute! And will make a good addition for our future program. She has the quietest, most gentle mind and disposition. Nothing excites
her.
