Misty Hancock Traced ~ AQHA Sorrel Filly- 96% NFQHA Eligible
Born April 12, 2012. Sorrel with a star

She is sired by Joe Hancock Traced a son of Roan Ambrose, and a grandson of Blue
Valentine(Superior Performance and Rodeo Horse) that is Poco Bueno(AQHA Hall of Fame, AQHA
Champion, ROM in Performance) bred on bottom. Joe produces those awesome riding and
performance horses that you see on my website. He has several of his offspring that are being
competed on in timed rodeo events and also several compete in Cowboy Mounted Shooting. They
also make laid back trail mounts and great kid's and beginners horses.
Then on bottom she is by Lakotas Misty Glo a 92% foundation bred Grulla Mare. She is an
awesome producer and great mama and has had 4 grulla colts, a grulla filly, a black filly, a grulla
roan colt during her broodmare career. She is the mom of five of our horses, Tough Silverado Ace
our 2004 Grulla gelding, Lakotas Silver Moon our previous 2007 grulla stallion/gelding, Sonnys
Silver Mist our 2008 Grulla Filly, and Roan Silverado Storm our 2011 Grulla Roan Stallion. Misty is
mostly all old-timey foundation breeding with Aledo Blue, Mr Joe Glo, Three Chicks, Croton Oil,
and Hancock breeding on top. On bottom she goes back to Silver King, Poco Bueno, Three Bars and
Bill Cody. Misty is just the icing on the cake around here. She stands out in a crowd, looks beautiful
no matter what time of year and is super correct and has an A++ disposition.

This is the 1st Misty baby to be for sale locally. We kept hoping she would roan out, but since she's
going to stay a sorrel we decided to offer her for sale. This is the one and only Joe baby this year and
she should be super nice and have a A++ disposition. I can already pet her out on pasture.

Click here to see her pedigree.
This filly will be stunning as an adult. Her
momma is the 1st one that everyone looks
at(and wants to buy!) when they come here.
She's just an eyecatcher and this filly is going
to be the same color but with better chrome!

We kept his filly's full brother from 2011 as our upcoming Joe replacement stallion. He
is absoutely stunning. When we crossed Misty back to Joe last spring, we were hoping
for another black pointed filly to add to our herd. Unfortunately it didn't happen and this
lil gal was born. I kept hoping she would roan out, we even shaved a couple spots on her
hip to see if the hair would come back in white. It did not, so she is going to stay a sorrel.
I still wanted to keep her, as the Joe filly's are hard to find for sale and make excellent
riding horses and kid's horses, but we are still trying to thin our numbers and I am not as
attached to her as some of our older mares. She is a great purchase for anyone out
there.
